Quite ironically, I came across yet another make money online training program (still in the hype stages) and actually found a solid gem of advice.
Before nodding off to sleep, Anik Singal in this “Empire Formula” video talks about the importance of establishing core values in your business. Your core values are directly derived from your personal values. He gives an easy exercise on how to capture your top 5 core values.
I’d say giving our business a set of values based on the integrity of our characters can be a huge game changer. First, it gives you the confidence to expand and operate your business according to the exact way you envision. You end up also attracting people who share and support those values.
Second, the perception of your company to the outside world (customers, media, the public) depends on the level of your values. Higher values = better and cleaner perception.
It’s very refreshing to hear one of these “gurus” actually step forward and talk about something far more meaningful than making heaps of money. This is the kind of stuff that attracts me—the money is important but in the big picture, it’s merely scaffolding for one’s legacy.
I’m sure a lot of bigger companies have this kind of business value stuff as part of their daily culture. I personally feel it’s important for small underdogs like us to think just as progressively.
Just something to think about, yeah? I recommend you watch the video, even if you lack interest in Internet Marketing training programs.
And, just to help Anik out, I’m putting my viral marketing link here to help spread the word of his upcoming training (not an affiliate link): http://blog.empireformula.com/empire/wordful.
