Before I begin, I’d like clarify that this website won’t be formally public until my design and WordPress integration are complete, which should be about next week (trust me it’s going to look totally different.) So if there are actually any readers out there, you’re viewing this site in pre-beta mode. But feel free to comment if you have the urge anyway.
Early this morning I was running and it was cold but I managed to clearly map out in my head what types of categories this site will have:
- Editorial Strategies: the cornerstone of Wordful’s vision and mission, which says that web content– if it’s going to serve an intended purpose–must be controlled by integral, web-specific editorial standards.
- Writing Tips: become a sharpshooter writer through these helpful tips
- Personal/Brand Building: what people need to do to build their persona on the web
- Stories to Inspire: author-submitted stories that recall humble beginnings and what it took to get to the top of the ladder (meant to illustrate the importance of stories)
- Book and Site Reviews: I give my take on whatever is on my bookshelf or sites that have my attention
So far that’s it, in quasi-draft form. There will be more but frankly I could probably write for months before I would need another category.
