I often try to do writing as much as possible before I start in on getting distracted by all of the content that's out there. I find that when I read, I sometimes adopt the tone of the piece I've been looking over. Taking the time to write and then read will definitely give your content a more "you" kind of feeling. As I wrote my post I was thinking about just that! Some kind of device that just cuts your connection for some time and does not let it back on until the timer is up. One of these days, I'm sure... Quality post as well. I believe Leo Babatua made a post on this a while back about how the first thing you do each morning should be to write. It really changed the way I produced content. Just now when I couldn't receive an internet connection, I plugged away 263 words in ten minutes. Boy, that's the most productive I've been in a couple days! If you, or anyone, finds a way to end your internet connection for an allotted amount of time, please let me know. Appreciate the link! Quality post as well.
