Affiliate Dot Com Live with Shoemoney

I’m here sitting next to John Chow and it appears we’re the only live bloggers in the room of a couple hundred people. Jeremy “Shoemoney” Shoemaker is on the stage and I must say he’s quite a personality.

Shoemoney is talking about influence, and why you need it to be successful and create the lifestyle you want. He’s a great storyteller and shared some of the strategies he lives to be the highest paid person on the internet.

Here is some of Shoe’s shared wisdom:

  • What people really lack is confidence. Even when he took a photo with the Google check he thought they’d call and take it back because he lacked the confidence. There are a lot of smart people out there who lack confidence who settle for the ordinary.
  • If you’re not taking risks then you’re not doing anything. There are no such thing as a calculated risk.
  • Fat people rule. They are givers. You develop a thick skin from being fat.
  • The absolute worst sin is envy. There is no upside to envy, as opposed to the other sins.
  • Adversity is opportunity. It will hit when you get success, but it will make an impact on your company and force you to move forward.
  • You have to give value. You have to take risks. You have to feel alive daily. Shoe likes waking up every day knowing that his business could all crash in one second.
  • Do one thing and do it well. Be passionate. I want to give value and I don’t care what people think. You just have to go after it.

And here’s a (raw) video from Jeremy on stage talking about what it’s like to be fat, taken by my UltraHD FlipCam:
